Popmoney Will Be Discontinued June 30th



Ensure A Smooth Transition Away From Popmoney. 

On June 30, 2023, Popmoney will be discontinued across all financial institutions by its service provider. As a result, OHecu members will no longer be able to access this person-to-person payment platform via Online & Mobile Banking after this date.

How to Prepare:

  • All payments created or scheduled with a Send Date of June 30, 2023, or earlier, will be processed without interruption.
  • Recurring or future-dated payments will not be processed after June 30, 2023.
  • Take note of all scheduled or recurring Popmoney transactions scheduled to occur after June 30, 2023. These won’t be processed. You can find and review all of your scheduled Popmoney transactions under the "Activity" tab.

What if I am expecting to receive Popmoney payments after June 30th?
Since Popmoney will no longer be available, the transaction will not be completed. Please utilize an alternate payment method to receive the funds.

What happens to Popmoney payments scheduled for after the discontinuation date?
Any payments dated after June 30th will not be processed so you should arrange to use a different payment method. You can review all of your scheduled Popmoney transactions under the "Activity" tab.

Are there any alternatives available?
Yes! Several. OHecu offers Bill Pay where you can set up one-time and/or recurring payments. As for alternate platforms, while OHecu does not endorse one over another, we suggest researching options such as: PayPal, Venmo, Apple Cash, and Samsung Pay.
